Don't forget that the listening age for a book is much more advanced than the reading age.
Kids in kindergarten can listen to books that kids in the early grades of school still cannot read.
This is fabulous news - as it helps us parents to expose our youngsters to great new ideas, stories and plots - by simply reading aloud to them.
